While studying all the time is not good for students, they need to go out of the classroom and take in some fresh air. The outside world is beautiful, they can play with their friends, watching movies, taking a break now and then. Play can make study better, students can have new idea, so they won’t stuck in the unsolved problem. Study needs to combine with play.

創(chuàng )造學(xué)習英語(yǔ)的環(huán)境對學(xué)不好英語(yǔ)的原因，我聽(tīng)得最多的一個(gè)理由就是沒(méi)有英語(yǔ)環(huán)境。其實(shí)，你有很多的英語(yǔ)環(huán)境，比如圖書(shū)館提供了學(xué)英語(yǔ)的好環(huán)境，我在上大學(xué)的時(shí)候曾在圖書(shū)館里借過(guò)、讀過(guò)相當多的英語(yǔ)書(shū)。同時(shí)，圖書(shū)館里還有各種各樣的英文報紙、雜志。還有，眾多的國外英語(yǔ)廣播節目(如BBC、VOA)可以聽(tīng)，國內也有很多不錯的英文廣播可以聽(tīng)。英語(yǔ)電視節目更是豐富多彩，有英語(yǔ)新聞、英語(yǔ)音樂(lè )、英語(yǔ)電影。
當然，還要創(chuàng )造說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的環(huán)境。你可以找外國人說(shuō)英語(yǔ)，你還可以找幾個(gè)學(xué)英語(yǔ)的朋友一起練口語(yǔ)。你可以到英語(yǔ)角去練習口語(yǔ)。當然，你還可以自己跟自己說(shuō)英語(yǔ)。你也可以去參加各種各樣的英語(yǔ)講座：電腦的、化學(xué)的、物理的、數學(xué)的、醫學(xué)的。
如何支配時(shí)間英語(yǔ)學(xué)習的時(shí)間支配，取決于你要發(fā)展的是哪一種英語(yǔ)技能。有些技能的訓練，花費的.時(shí)間越長(cháng)越好。有些技能就需要每次短時(shí)間的強化練習。
比如，發(fā)展閱讀技能，你每次讀的時(shí)間越長(cháng)越好。大量的讀是提高英語(yǔ)閱讀水平的前提。聽(tīng)力技能的培養也是一樣，每次聽(tīng)的時(shí)間越長(cháng)越好。
語(yǔ)音技能的訓練則不然，每次語(yǔ)音練習兩三個(gè)小時(shí)，就不科學(xué)，效率也不高。你應該把較長(cháng)的時(shí)間分成較短的時(shí)間段。每次練習時(shí)應使大腦保持在大腦處于最清醒狀態(tài)。這樣集中練習半個(gè)小時(shí)，就應停下來(lái)。一次練習過(guò)后，再過(guò)一段時(shí)間(比如三個(gè)小時(shí))再練習半小時(shí)，就再停下來(lái)這種短時(shí)間段的高強度重復，是提高語(yǔ)音技能的最有效的方法。
