Korea is a country that famous for its beach, culture, even their products. Luckily, I had a chance to go to Korea last year.
When I got Korea, it was night. We went our hotel. To our surprise, the hotel was so beautiful and nice, the room was comfortable and the food in the restaurant was also delicious.
The most famous palace in Korea Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is spectacular and it is too big that we spend 5 hours finishing visiting this place.
We also try the Korea food. But I don't like it, it was always made of vegetables and seafood, with a little salt and oil, but my mother said it is healthy.
The shopping mall in Korea is big, very big. The Lotte shopping mall is the biggest one with almost all kinds goods in it. We bought many nice things.
I enjoy myself during this trip. If I can, I want to visit there again.

different students learn english for different purposes. most of the students learn english because they need to read english textbooks or journals and attend english lectures, while a few students use it to talk to english-speaking visitors, attend seminars, or write letters and reports.
whatever the purposes are, one thing is certain: students need english, and english teaching should be strengthened in universities. however, the current teaching methods should be improved and the teaching materials should be updated to satisfy their needs.

過(guò)了兩天，爸爸要求我把學(xué)過(guò)的十四個(gè)英語(yǔ)字母聽(tīng)寫(xiě)一遍。我心想，這還不容易，小菜一碟�？墒墙Y果我有好幾個(gè)英語(yǔ)字母不會(huì )寫(xiě)。
爸說(shuō)：“不要有口無(wú)心地讀，要用心去讀去寫(xiě)，這樣才能把英語(yǔ)學(xué)好�！�

這次去歐洲旅游，我收獲很多，其中有一點(diǎn)就是讓我對學(xué)習英語(yǔ)的體會(huì )又深了一層。
去歐洲之前，我學(xué)英語(yǔ)時(shí)基本都是啞巴英語(yǔ)，從來(lái)不去大聲讀，發(fā)音總是不標準，而且學(xué)習過(guò)程中沒(méi)有興趣，所以雖然反復學(xué)但是效果不好，學(xué)習效率很低，浪費了很多時(shí)間。
在歐洲，我發(fā)現熟練掌握英語(yǔ)非常重要，無(wú)論是在旅游景點(diǎn)還是購物商場(chǎng)，英語(yǔ)總是通用的語(yǔ)音，在很多情況下，由于英語(yǔ)不好，不能準確地表達出自己的想法，而產(chǎn)生很多遺憾。在盧浮宮參觀(guān)時(shí)，雖然有英文的講解器，但因為聽(tīng)不懂，就不能更好的欣賞這個(gè)藝術(shù)寶庫。在意大利，就連最簡(jiǎn)單的買(mǎi)冰激凌，由于不會(huì )用英語(yǔ)說(shuō)“香草”這個(gè)詞，也無(wú)法品嘗更多地口味。這樣的事情，幾乎每天都會(huì )發(fā)生。所以在國外時(shí)，我就暗暗下了決心，今后一定要認真學(xué)習外語(yǔ)，熟練掌握好外語(yǔ)。還有一點(diǎn)，我看到外國人說(shuō)英語(yǔ)時(shí)口型都是非�？鋸埖�'，有時(shí)嘴巴張得很大，有時(shí)嘴巴撅得很厲害。我回想了一下自己的發(fā)音，說(shuō)英語(yǔ)時(shí)口型和漢語(yǔ)發(fā)音差不多，口型不到位，發(fā)音自然也不會(huì )標準了。
有了這兩點(diǎn)體會(huì )，我對英語(yǔ)的學(xué)習有了更多的動(dòng)力和認識�；貒笤诩倨诶飳W(xué)習音標時(shí)，我開(kāi)始大聲地練習，丟掉了以前的不好意思，盡量的把口型做到位，發(fā)音慢慢地糾正過(guò)來(lái)。當然，今后我還要繼續持久的練習，期待下次出國游時(shí)，我可以說(shuō)的更多，聽(tīng)得更多！

It is curious that our own offenses should seem so much less heinous than the offenses of others. I suppose the reason is that we know all the circumstances that have occasioned them and so manage to excuse in ourselves what we cannot excuse in others. We turn our attention away from our own defects, and when we are forced by untoward events to consider them, find it easy to condone them. For all I know we are right to do this; they are part of us and we must accept the good and bad in ourselves together.

To take a trivial instance: how scornful we are when we catch someone out telling a lie; but who can say that he has never told not one, but a hundred?

For my part, I do not think I am any better or any worse than most people, but I know that if I set down every action in my life and every thought that has crossed my mind, the world would consider me a monster of depravity. The knowledge that these reveries are common to all men should inspire one with tolerance to oneself as well as to others. It is well also if they enable us to look upon our fellows, even the most eminent and respectable, with humor, and if they lead us to take ourselves not too seriously.
