　　In modern sociey, people who is handicaped in using computer and accessing network are classified as "blinds" naturally. The advantages of captioned facility is significant, the world move much faster than before because of the information exchange and speedy processing of data. You can guess how much business can grow if a spreadsheet need to be calculated using three days instead of one second nowaday, I should say in majority that computers and networking bring much convenience to human life. But there are still dark side of the world. I also observe children that cannot do simple calculation by mind, they have to rely on calculators, a simple form of computer, similar things happen all around us and when time goes by, we are weak in mind manipulation yet also weak in physical because we spent all time around the computer. What a world we are in to say hello to a friend next door by send him email ?

　　每次完成數學(xué)作業(yè)時(shí)，我都習慣用計算機來(lái)進(jìn)行驗算，特別是對簡(jiǎn)便運算的算式，更加注重用計算機復查是否準確，這樣對保證作業(yè)的質(zhì)量是有一定的作用。

　　后來(lái)便認為直接用計算機來(lái)完成作業(yè)更快捷、方便，看見(jiàn)爺爺不在時(shí)就用它來(lái)幫忙完成作業(yè)。今晚有一道數學(xué)題惹了麻煩，露了馬腳。這道題是：234分鐘=（ ）點(diǎn)（ ）分鐘。 我因為習慣了用計算機來(lái)完成，一小時(shí)等于60分鐘我是清楚的，便不假思索在計算機上輸入234，然后輸入÷號，再輸入60，按下=，很快出現3。9。因此，我非常相信計算機的'正確性，便把這個(gè)數據直接填進(jìn)括號里變成：234分鐘=（ 3 ）點(diǎn)（ 9 ）分鐘。

　　爺爺檢查作業(yè)時(shí)問(wèn)我，這個(gè)答案正確嗎？我滿(mǎn)有把握地說(shuō)：“正確”。爺爺說(shuō)再檢查一下吧！我慢不經(jīng)心的說(shuō)：“絕對正確”。爺爺要我要我重新運算一遍，我拿出計算機一點(diǎn)，得數正好是3。9，便得意地拿給爺爺，要他自己去看。誰(shuí)知爺爺根本不看，表情莊重，責令我進(jìn)行還原，我只好老老實(shí)實(shí)進(jìn)行還原，按答案加起來(lái)一算，只有189分鐘，這時(shí)我心里很著(zhù)急。

　　爺爺問(wèn)我還有45分鐘那里去了，我無(wú)法回答。后來(lái)才知道錯在進(jìn)位不同，因為計算機是十進(jìn)位，而時(shí)間換算是六十進(jìn)位的，因此出現了錯誤。該死的計算機這次給了我好大的麻煩，把我的秘密全暴露了。 爺爺非常嚴肅地對我說(shuō)：做數學(xué)用計算機來(lái)檢驗或復查是可以的，但是不動(dòng)手練習，直接用計算機來(lái)完成作業(yè)是一種投機取巧的行為，學(xué)校、家庭都不允許，因為它不能提高運算水平，還會(huì )妨礙自己智力的發(fā)展，同時(shí)產(chǎn)生懶妥性格。

　　這是一次深刻的教訓，爺爺的話(huà)對我啟發(fā)很大，使我知道了學(xué)習沒(méi)有捷徑好走，只有加強動(dòng)手練習的自覺(jué)性，多動(dòng)腦筋，善于鉆研，才能提高數學(xué)的解題能力、運算能力、驗算能力。

　　My name is ***. ** is my given name. *means sweet and* means person, so my name means a sweet-tempered girl. I actually am! But you can call me June, for your convenience, j-u-n-e, it's similar to my Chinese name Jun. I am from Enping, a small city in the southwest of Guangdong Province, near HongKong and Macao. Maybe you have never been there before, it's well known for the hot springs there.

　　In 20xx, I got the highest score in the College Entrance Examinations in my city and entered Zhongshan University. My major is Computer Science. My GPA ranks in the top 40% among all students, but I have stronger C programming skills than many others. Also, I was the first one to learn Java in my class.

　　I was chosen by a teacher of mine to participate in his project. The project was about a LAN chat room, and I developed the instant messaging system in it. I was the only female student in this project team.

　　Besides study and the project, I worked in the Student Union for two years, first year as a member, next year promoted to be the General Secretary. My colleagues describe me as a reliable and considerate person.
