MOTHER, your baby is silly! She is so absurdly childish!She does not know the difference between the lights in the streets and the stars. 媽媽?zhuān)愕暮⒆诱嫔?她是那末可笑地不懂得事!她不知道路燈和星星的分別。
When we play at eating with pebbles, she thinks they are real food, and tries to put them into her mouth. 當我們玩著(zhù)把小石子當食物的游戲時(shí)，她便以為它們真是吃的.東西，竟想放進(jìn)嘴里去。

I AM small because I am a little child. I shall be big when I am as old as my father is.

Mother will say, "What are you about, naughty child?"

In the holiday time in October father will come home and, thinking that I am still a baby, will bring for me from the town little shoes and small silken frocks.
當十月里放假的時(shí)候，爸爸將要回家，他會(huì )以為我還是一個(gè)小孩子，為我從城里帶了小鞋子和小綢衫來(lái)。
I shall say, "Father, give them to my d?d? [elder brother], for I am as big as you are."

Father will think and say, "He can buy his own clothes if he likes, for he is grown up."
