W: Excuse me, are you Mr. Yang?
懷特：請問(wèn)，你是楊先生嗎?
Y: Yes, I am. And you are?
楊：是的，我是。請問(wèn)你是?
W: I am White. You called me earlier to let me come over.
懷特：我是懷特。你之前給我打電話(huà)讓我 過(guò)來(lái)的。
Y: Oh, yes. Thank you for being here.Please sit down.
楊：哦，是的。謝謝你能來(lái)。請坐吧。
W: May I ask what is the matter?
懷特：請問(wèn)有什么事嗎?
Y: I am thinking of doing a sales promotion for our products. Can you give me some suggestion?
楊：我想為我們的產(chǎn)品做一個(gè)促銷(xiāo)活 動(dòng)。你能給我們建議一下嗎?
W: Of course. We have investigated your products before and found that although the quality of your product is very good, the customer's awareness is not high. So I think you need an advertising campaign.
懷特：當然可以。我們之前調査過(guò)你們的 產(chǎn)品，發(fā)現雖然你們的產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量很 好，但顧客認知度不高。因此我覺(jué) 得你們需要做一個(gè)廣告活動(dòng)。
Y: What is advantage of advertising? Doesn't it cost money to advertise?
楊：廣告有什么好處嗎?做廣告不是要 費用的嗎?
W: There is a saying which goes “Wine needs no bush'".But today the market competition is more and more fierce, so “Wine needs bush”. It is not enough for the enterprise to have just good quality and service. Only by matching with good advertisement can an enterprise be in the indefectible position.
懷特：俗話(huà)說(shuō)“酒香不怕巷子深”，但在 市場(chǎng)競爭日益激烈的今天，“酒香 也怕巷子深”，企業(yè)僅有優(yōu)質(zhì)的產(chǎn) 品和服務(wù)是不夠的，只有配以良好 的廣告宣傳，才能在市場(chǎng)上立于不敗之地。
Y: What you said is very reasonable. Our products are very good, but the sales volume is not high. Maybe that is because customers don't understand our products and dare not to buy easily.
楊：你說(shuō)得很有道理。我們的產(chǎn)品很 好，但就是銷(xiāo)售量不高，可能就是 因為顧客對我們的產(chǎn)品不了解，不敢輕易購買(mǎi)。
W: It is right for you to think like this. Advertising does need certain fee, but you may earn more the cost of advertising.
懷特：你這樣想就對了。廣告是需要一定的費用，但你們可能因為廣告賺的錢(qián)比費用多多了。
Y: Good, I think this is worthy of a try.

W: This is all right. But it will cost a lot of money and the effect is also not necessarily better than choosing specific several media. I suggest you had better have an emphasis.
這樣也行。但是會(huì )花費很多的錢(qián)的，并且效 果也不一定比選用特定幾種更好。我建議最 好有所側重。
Y: Uh,yes. I just forget to take the cost into consideration. Which one has the best effect?
嗯，是啊。剛忘了把成本考慮在內了。哪種 效果最好呢?
W: Each one of them has their own advantages and disadvantages. But personally I think TV's effect is the best. It has the most extensive publicity surface, sound and color, and is not static. So it is the best choice of the product facing the nationwide users and can't be replaced by other media.
