商務(wù)英語(yǔ)信函的信頭也稱(chēng)信端，其內容包括發(fā)件公司的名稱(chēng)、標志、通信地址、電話(huà)號碼、傳真號、電子郵箱等。書(shū)寫(xiě)信頭的目的是為了方便收件人了解信函來(lái)自何處，并為回復提供聯(lián)系方式。
很多公司都會(huì )印制帶信頭的信紙。一般來(lái)說(shuō)，人們喜歡將簡(jiǎn)單的信頭放在信紙上端居中，將復雜的信頭放在信紙的右側或上下兩端。在使用這種信紙打印信函時(shí)，一定要注意為信頭留出足夠的空間。
對于私人商務(wù)信函，如求職信等，信頭通常寫(xiě)在信紙的右上方。
如果信函的長(cháng)度超過(guò)兩頁(yè)，那么從第2頁(yè)開(kāi)始就不再需要信頭了，只需寫(xiě)上頁(yè)碼、收件人姓名及日期。
英文地址的書(shū)寫(xiě)和中文地址的書(shū)寫(xiě)有很大區別，應遵循從小到大的原則。特別值得注意的是，地址中的標點(diǎn)符號需正確使用。當前的習慣做法是，行末一般不加標點(diǎn)符號，但行中間該加標點(diǎn)的地方，還是不應省略。門(mén)牌號碼與街道名稱(chēng)之間不加標點(diǎn)，但是在城市與國家名稱(chēng)之間必須用逗號分開(kāi)。
The letterhead provides the sender's name，full address，the telephone number, fax number,cable address and e-mail address. If you use stationery，it is usually printed with such a heading at the top.
If you need to type out the letterhead，it is a common practice to place it in the top-right corner or the top-left corner of the first page. You can consider one of the following two forms: blocked or indented.

The choice of either of the two forms depends entirely on your preference. The main purpose
of designing it is to make it pleasing in form and easy to type. It is necessary，however, to point out that with the increasingly extensive use of computers today，writers of business letters tend to employ the full block form from the beginning to the end of the letter to save energy and time.
