　　Salary，wage和pay這三個(gè)詞都可以表示“工資”，但其含義不同。salary是指非體力勞動(dòng)者所得到的“工資、薪水”，通常按月，有時(shí)按季或年計算(Salary is usually paid monthly,sometimes three months or a year,for a job,esp.as for workers of higher skill and rank);wage指簡(jiǎn)單勞動(dòng)或體力勞動(dòng)者所得的“工資、工錢(qián)”，通常按周、日等短期計算發(fā)給(Wages are paid weekly for a job,esp.as for labourers or workers.)，常用復數形式;pay指不論工作性質(zhì)如何，針對勞動(dòng)所支付的報酬，它包含salary和wage(s)(pay is paid for a job)，為不可數名詞。來(lái)看看相應的例子：

　　2.form是名詞，有“表格”的意思，也可由此引申出以下幾個(gè)意項。

　　(1)表示“形狀、外形”，如：

　　Churches are often built in the form of a cross.

　　教堂常常建成十字形。

　　(2)表示“表現形式”，如：

　　He adopted the prose form.

　　他采用散文形式。

　　(3)表示“(運動(dòng)員的)體能健康狀況”，如：

　　If she is in form, she can win the match easily.

　　如果她競技狀態(tài)良好,她可以輕易贏(yíng)得這場(chǎng)比賽。
