Before I always don't like reading, every time my mother told me to read a book I was perfunctory, the teacher told me to read that is compelling.clients, classmate called me to read more goofing off. But this summer vacation I began to like reading books.
This summer vacation I "honor" was chosen by the teacher when the librarian, I also only crustily skin of head to the charge. Come to the library, wow! 以前我總不喜歡看書(shū)，每當媽媽叫我看書(shū)我就敷衍了事，老師叫我讀書(shū)那也是迫不得已，同學(xué)叫我一起看書(shū)更是濫竽充數。但這個(gè)暑假我卻開(kāi)始喜歡看書(shū)了。

偉人說(shuō)過(guò)“書(shū)是人類(lèi)進(jìn)步的階梯”我今天就踏上了這個(gè)階梯，我在其中收獲了快樂(lè )，我能開(kāi)著(zhù)它越走越遠，越走越高。

4月16日上午，CCTV“希望之星”英語(yǔ)風(fēng)采大賽湘潭賽區復賽在我們東方紅學(xué)校舉行。
我去的時(shí)候比賽已經(jīng)開(kāi)始了，只見(jiàn)向思璐站在上面緊張地表演著(zhù)，帶動(dòng)著(zhù)我也緊張了起來(lái)。我一看序號，呀！馬上就到我了，于是我趕到座位上，其他同學(xué)都全神貫注地看著(zhù)表演者，我也自作鎮定的等待著(zhù)。
啊，馬上就到我了，我再也掩飾不住那緊張的情緒，心在不�！斑诉�，咚咚”地跳著(zhù)。輪到我上場(chǎng)了，我懷著(zhù)激動(dòng)而忐忑不安的心情走上了講臺。我首先敬了個(gè)禮，做了自我介紹，然后開(kāi)始有聲有色的表演我的.節目，英語(yǔ)小故事《AGOODBOY》。我平復一下自己的情緒，然后流利地講著(zhù)我的故事，邊講還邊做動(dòng)作，仿佛進(jìn)入了天真的情境。評委老師專(zhuān)注地聽(tīng)著(zhù)我的故事，不時(shí)用筆記一下什么，我看到一位評委老師的眼睛里露出了一點(diǎn)笑意，我如釋重負。我的表演結束了，回答完老師的問(wèn)題后，敬了個(gè)禮，便退場(chǎng)了。
比賽結束后，在回家的路上媽媽接到電話(huà)：“您的孩子成功突圍，晉級決賽了�！蔽抑篮�，高興地跳了起來(lái)，此時(shí)此刻，我想起了之前努力的情形：到老師家上完輔導課后，回家一遍又一遍的練習，經(jīng)常練到晚上9點(diǎn)多……這些都是值得的。我現在最要感謝的是爸爸、媽媽還有那位輔導老師。
正所謂：功夫不負有心人。我從這次比賽中明白了一個(gè)道理：只要有辛苦的付出，就會(huì )有更好地回報，我要繼續認真準備，爭取在決賽中取得好的成績(jì)。
