大家都知道第一印象很重要，外國考官面試時(shí)第一印象很重要。 美國人雖然很講效益，但和人第一次見(jiàn)面時(shí)，往往會(huì )先問(wèn)一些無(wú)關(guān)緊要的問(wèn)題。這叫做"Breaking the ice"（establish a rapport ）。
The interviewer might ask you something like:

面試時(shí)，最重要的部分是談你的"experience and qualifications". 所以當interviewer和你寒暄時(shí)，你可不要扯遠了。
Qualifications： include your education from High School on and any special training you may have done in the past.
Experience is any work that you have done that is directly or indirectly related to the job you are applying for.
Talk about your education談你接受的教育:
因為你要談的教育發(fā)生在過(guò)去，所以記住了要use past tenses. For example:
"I attended the University of New York from 1992 to 1996."
"I graduated with a degree in social science"...
如果你目前還是個(gè)學(xué)生，那么應該使用present tenses: For example:
"I am currently studying at the University of New York and will graduate with a degree in computer science in this fall."
or "I am studying English at City College of New York."...
當談你受的教育時(shí)，可別忘了提起你參加過(guò)的培訓，得到過(guò)的證書(shū)和選過(guò)的一些和這份工作有關(guān)的課程，求職英語(yǔ)《外國考官面試時(shí)第一印象很重要》。譬如computer training, correspondence courses, CCNP Certificate等等。
因為英語(yǔ)不是你的母語(yǔ)，而你的工作要求你會(huì )英語(yǔ)，那么你還得特別提到你的英語(yǔ)嫻熟程度或告訴對方你是如何在這方面做努力的。
