　　To the Evening Star

　　Star that bringest home the bee,

　　And sett'st the weary labourer free,

　　If any star shed peace, tis thou

　　That send'st it from above.

　　Appearing when heaven's breath and brow

　　Are sweet as hers we love.

　　Come to the luxuriant skies

　　Whilst the landscape's odors rise.

　　Whilst far-off lowing herds are heard,

　　And songs, when toil is done,

　　From cottages whose smoke unstirred

　　Curls yellow in the sun.

　　Star of love's soft interviews,

　　Parted lovers on thee muse.

　　Their remembrancer in heaven

　　Of thrilling vows thou art,

　　Too delicious to be riven

　　By absence from the heart.

　　傍晚，你陪伴蜜蜂回家，

　　你讓疲憊的人們將活計放下；

　　你站在高高的天庭，

　　把安寧向人間播撒。

　　等到天空透出美女的氣息容顏，

　　你就顯露那一點(diǎn)光華。

　　當大地的芬芳開(kāi)始升騰，

　　遠處的牛群叫聲嘈雜；

　　辛勞之余的歌聲響起，

　　農舍炊煙裊裊，夕陽(yáng)西下；

　　此時(shí)你便現身蒼穹，

　　此刻你會(huì )來(lái)伴晚霞。

　　你是幽會(huì )情人之星，

　　你把戀人的相思引發(fā)；

　　你是海誓山盟在高處的見(jiàn)證，

　　你永恒不變作現身說(shuō)法；

　　你是如此皎潔美好，

　　人們心里無(wú)時(shí)不在把你牽掛。
