　　If ever two were one, then surely we．

　　If ever man were lov’d by wife, then thee；

　　If ever wife was happy in a man,

　　Compare with me ye momen if you can．

　　I prize thy love more than whole Mines of gold,

　　Or all the riches that the East doth hold．

　　My love is such that Rivers cannot quench,

　　Nor ought but love from thee, give recompence．

　　Thy love is such I can no way repay,

　　The heavens reward thee manifold I pray．

　　安妮·布拉德斯特里特(Anne Bradstreet 1612—1672)美國詩(shī)人 作者是美國殖民時(shí)期第一位用英語(yǔ)創(chuàng )作的女詩(shī)人；正如這首詩(shī)所顯示,詩(shī)風(fēng)熱烈奔放,充滿(mǎn)人情,既有美國拓荒時(shí)代的紀實(shí)特征,又不乏濃郁的詩(shī)意。
