英語(yǔ)講義：句子的轉換

　　所謂句子轉換，就是將一種句式變成另外一種句式，或者用不同的方法表達相同的語(yǔ)意，使句型多樣化，借以提升寫(xiě)作的效果。例如形容詞和副詞可以有不同程度的比較而仍然保持原意。

　　下面的第一句是原級，可以變成第二句：比較級：

　�。�1） Nancy is not so great as lrene.

　�。�2） Irene is greater than Nancy.

　　同樣的，主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)可以變成被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)而原意猶存。例如（3）是主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)，（4）是被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)，兩句語(yǔ)意不變，只是重點(diǎn)改變。

　�。�3） Mr Lin gave the good student a prize.

　�。�4） The good student was given a prize by Mr Lin.

　　還有，一種詞類(lèi)也可以變成另一種詞類(lèi)并保留原意。例如：

　�。�5） a. The customer examined the jewels very carefully.

　　b. The customer examined the jewels with great care.

　�。�6） a. She tried to sing her song in an interesting way.

　　b. She tried to sing her song interestingly.

　　此外，一種句子也可變成另一種句子：

　　1. 簡(jiǎn)單句變成并列句

　�。⊿imple Sentence Compound Sentence）

　　 I must work very hard to achieve something. I must work very hard and then achieve something.
