  很佩服寶潔的辦事效率。從2月中網(wǎng)上申請,到3月中進(jìn)行托業(yè)筆試,第一次面試,RT筆試,到4月7號終面,直至12號給口頭Offer,真是快得驚人。單是這一點(diǎn),很多公司就已經(jīng)比不上了。白天網(wǎng)上和阿Wing妹妹聊天時(shí),談到面試的情況,于是趁還沒(méi)有把面試經(jīng)歷徹底忘干凈之前,整理出一些經(jīng)驗,和大家分享。也希望所以和阿Wing妹妹一樣努力在找工作的各位好運,尋得滿(mǎn)意的工作。

  此處略去不說(shuō)了,網(wǎng)上資料太多了。

  TOEIC 托業(yè)英語(yǔ)考試

  時(shí)間:2010年3月20日下午2:00-4:30;

  地點(diǎn):廣州,廣外藝綜合樓308;

  內容:和之前看到的2005年6月樣題基本類(lèi)似,100道聽(tīng)力題,100道閱讀題,必須用2B鉛筆涂寫(xiě)答題紙。

  注意事項:整體感覺(jué)題目并不難,主要考察如何在商業(yè)環(huán)境中使用英語(yǔ),只有個(gè)別幾個(gè)問(wèn)題需要多花些時(shí)間考慮,或者有些是模棱兩可。關(guān)鍵是如何長(cháng)時(shí)間保持注意力集中,答聽(tīng)力題的中間,我就好幾次走神。所以,建議提前做一下樣題,了解題型和內容,并做好應對長(cháng)時(shí)間聽(tīng)力的心理準備。

  第一次面試

  時(shí)間:2010年3月24日星期三,1:00PM-1:40PM

  地點(diǎn):廣州市中泰國際B塔,寶潔總部

  面試部門(mén):產(chǎn)品供應部,第一次面試

  面試官:潘浩經(jīng)理(Ray),口腔護理產(chǎn)品物流部門(mén)主管

  面試者背景:國內重點(diǎn)工程本科,港校工程碩士,實(shí)習經(jīng)驗不算豐富。

  語(yǔ)言:普通話(huà)

  風(fēng)格:刨根問(wèn)底,緊張嚴肅。

  內容:典型的寶潔八大問(wèn)題,個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷上的問(wèn)題,向面試官提問(wèn)。

  1.介紹一下目前為止你感到最自豪,最有成就感的一件事情?是個(gè)人的項目還是團隊合作的?有沒(méi)有遇到特別的困難?如果現在要你重新做一遍,你會(huì )采取什么不同的方法去做,會(huì )有哪些改變?

  反思之處:有些不夠簡(jiǎn)潔;回答“不同的方法或改變”時(shí),我說(shuō)“會(huì )做得更快更有效率,因為積累了經(jīng)驗……”,感覺(jué)態(tài)度不夠積極。中間陳述時(shí)也有些忽略了團隊合作的細節信息,顯得有些個(gè)人主義。

  2.介紹一下一個(gè)團隊合作的例子,你發(fā)揮了領(lǐng)導能力,并最終實(shí)現預期的目標?有沒(méi)有遇到?jīng)_突,你是怎么解決的?

  反思之處:絮絮叨叨,沒(méi)有切中要點(diǎn);談到自己主動(dòng)擔任項目協(xié)調人,調動(dòng)大家的積極性,組織小組討論,確定項目目標、架構、時(shí)間表,明確分工;沒(méi)來(lái)得及說(shuō)項目的結果。沖突問(wèn)題,我談了關(guān)于“distribution channel”的分歧,一組選擇使用公司自己的團隊,一組選擇外包給第三方物流;我的解決方案是傾聽(tīng)他們各自的理由,并按照數據做出選擇,兩者融合在一起。

  3.介紹一個(gè)你同時(shí)要做很多事情,而且這些事情表面上是有沖突的情況下,你是如何排序,如何處理的?

  反思之處:這個(gè)問(wèn)題回答得不徹底,沒(méi)有講分析后的結果,也沒(méi)有闡述“表面看起來(lái)有沖突”。

  4.在你的簡(jiǎn)歷中,你說(shuō)曾經(jīng)設計了物料配送系統,將物料配送時(shí)間降低了50%左右,請問(wèn)你是具體怎么做的?你這樣做肯定會(huì )增加倉庫的負擔,請問(wèn)你怎么說(shuō)服他們?這樣的改變,你是怎么說(shuō)服老板的?

  答:收集信息與反饋,了解生產(chǎn)部門(mén)的實(shí)際需要,考核倉庫工作量——分析采取新的物料配送系統將節省的費用,與現行制度浪費的成本進(jìn)行分析,用事實(shí)說(shuō)話(huà)——闡述新系統的好處和意義,說(shuō)服執行部門(mén)——階段性反饋和改進(jìn),評估成果。

  反思之處:沒(méi)能很好地闡述執行過(guò)程中遇到的反抗,以及不斷改進(jìn)的循環(huán);語(yǔ)言不夠簡(jiǎn)潔,介紹了太多背景信息,沒(méi)有提到團隊合作,等。

  5.我提問(wèn):

  a)請問(wèn)產(chǎn)品供應部的培訓是怎樣的?

  b)請問(wèn)你個(gè)人長(cháng)久留在寶潔的理由是什么?只說(shuō)一點(diǎn)就好。

  答:寶潔的文化,價(jià)值,標準化運作,等等,比較官方。

  反思之處:面試官一聽(tīng)到我第二個(gè)問(wèn)題就很郁悶了,他忍不住直接問(wèn)“今天上午我面了6個(gè)人,你是第七個(gè)問(wèn)這個(gè)問(wèn)題的。你們是不是都上網(wǎng)看面經(jīng)啊……”然后可能意識到自己態(tài)度有些不耐煩,還是話(huà)鋒一轉,開(kāi)始官腔了。教訓就是,問(wèn)問(wèn)題要有新意,論壇上那些問(wèn)爛了的題目就不要再拿出來(lái)糊弄面試官了。這肯定會(huì )影響他對我的印象,心里沒(méi)準兒再說(shuō)“又是一個(gè)不動(dòng)腦子的”……真是郁悶啊。

  總結:

  寶潔的面試一貫以親切著(zhù)稱(chēng),但我感覺(jué)挺嚴肅的,而且很多事情還沒(méi)來(lái)得及闡述清楚,就換題目了。面試官頻頻看時(shí)間,雖然估計是因為面試程序有這樣的要求,但是還是影響到我面試的心情和發(fā)揮,感覺(jué)他很趕時(shí)間。開(kāi)場(chǎng)白也很官腔,只說(shuō)了一句“你的經(jīng)歷很豐富啊,很不錯,還去了臺灣……”,根本沒(méi)有什么讓你進(jìn)入狀態(tài)的對話(huà),直接就開(kāi)始八大問(wèn)了。所以,我得到的教訓是——絕對不能一昧地相信論壇里前輩們的經(jīng)驗之談,不同的面試官風(fēng)格會(huì )完全不同,還是要做好打一場(chǎng)硬仗,全力迎戰的準備。

  另一個(gè)最深刻的體會(huì )是自己的語(yǔ)言表達能力,根本沒(méi)有想象中那么強。即使在腦子里過(guò)了好幾遍答案,真正從嘴里說(shuō)出來(lái)卻可能是完全不同的樣子,所以,模擬面試時(shí)一定要真的開(kāi)口,只記在腦子里或者紙上的效果會(huì )大打折扣的。

  Global Reasoning Test

  時(shí)間:2010年3月29日星期一,6:00PM-7:30PM

  地點(diǎn):廣州市中泰國際B塔,寶潔總部

  語(yǔ)言:English

  注意事項:找樣題練習一下,熟能生巧,總體來(lái)說(shuō)不難,關(guān)鍵是控制好時(shí)間。

  第二次面試

  時(shí)間:2010年4月7日星期三,4:30PM-5:20PM,50分鐘

  地點(diǎn):廣州市中泰國際B塔32F,寶潔總部

  面試部門(mén):產(chǎn)品供應部,第二次面試/終面

  面試官:三位男士,兩個(gè)中國人,一個(gè)德國人,均為PS高層,在寶潔工作多年

  語(yǔ)言:English

  風(fēng)格:刨根問(wèn)底,節奏緊湊。一人負責主要提問(wèn);德國人最后才開(kāi)始提問(wèn),非八大問(wèn)范疇。

  內容:圍繞寶潔八大問(wèn)題展開(kāi),個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷相關(guān)的問(wèn)題,最后向面試官提問(wèn)。

  1.Introduce yourself (mine is very brief)

  2.Share a case when you act as the leader and reach the results. Specify the actions you have taken. What’s the most difficult thing in this case? How do you work with others? (If the case has been used in your 1st interview, they would probably ask you to share a different one.)

  Key words: leadership skills, team work spirit

  3.Share a case when you have to manage many tasks at the same time? How do you prioritize things? How do you identify the most important one?

  4.How do you handle conflicts? How do you persuade others?

  5.Sorry that I could not remember other questions. Prepare following the 8 questions with as many details as possible, and then it won’t be a big issue in the interview.

  6.What is your strongest technical skill? Only one area. (Asked by the German Manager)

  Hint: Maybe because I have much engineering education, he would like to figure out my best subject. I said “Industrial Engineering”.

  7.Have you applied other companies besides P&G? What would you consider when you choose an employer? What if you are not employed by P&G? (Asked by the German Manager)

  Hint: I thought that they wanted to know your desire to join P&G and how much passion you had towards P&G. My answer was not a good one, I think. Because I said, “Yes, I did apply for other companies. And I got some positive responses as well. But P&G will definitely be my preferable employer. ” And I also said “If P&G rejects me, I will consider other companies.” Anyway, life will still go on even when you cannot join P&G. I am quite frank on this question.

  8.Any questions you like to ask us?

  Hint: Never copy others’ questions, especially those on BBS sharing. Try to ask something that you are really interested in and related to the job. I asked about long term strategy and distribution channels. But it seemed that both were confidential topics, so I only got rough answers.

  Summary

  1.Preparation is of critical important to any interview, especially for the detail oriented style of P&G. Learn the typical 8 questions carefully and ensure you are really familiar with your CV. Do not memorize the answers, since it makes your expression unnatural.

  2.Integrity or honesty is a basic requirement. So do not lie or make up stories. But you can always package your past experiences in different ways. How to sell yourself effectively is always a must-gain skill.

  3.Formal dressing is to show your respect to the interviewer and the company. So get the suit ready before the interview.

  4.Present yourself actively by using eye contact and smile. During the interview, even when you are nervous, you should never show it. Try your best to communicate with the interviewers and let them know you better through the interview. But always bear in mind: you and the company are equal and this is a two-way selection process.

  5.Be confident and always trust yourself. It is normal that people have different exposures and life tracks, so do not underestimate yourself. Everyone is unique and will sooner or later find a desirable employer. The company will choose the most suitable applicants rather than the best candidates.

  無(wú)論最后結果如何,我都覺(jué)得申請寶潔是值得的。面試寶潔令我更加了解自己,知道自己欠缺的能力,還回顧了自己曾經(jīng)做過(guò)的很多事情,令我更有自信,對準備其他公司的申請也非常有參考價(jià)值。幸運的是,我最終拿到了offer。關(guān)鍵是一切都要靠自己爭取,大家加油吧!
