1. Maths
數學(xué)考試有60個(gè)問(wèn)題，60分鐘。主要測試學(xué)生讀完11年級后所應掌握的知識。
測試形式是選擇題。
考生應該掌握基本公式和算術(shù)技巧。不要求知道復雜公式和復雜運算。
2. English Test
包括75個(gè)問(wèn)題，考試時(shí)間45分鐘

不測試拼寫(xiě)，詞匯，語(yǔ)法的記憶。
考試包括5篇不同類(lèi)型的散文，后跟有選擇題。
3. Reading
閱讀部分 35 分鐘 ,40 個(gè)問(wèn)題 . ，用來(lái)測試閱讀理解能力。要求考試者讀幾篇文章，并回答問(wèn)題：
問(wèn)題會(huì )考查以下技巧：
* determine main ideas找出文章大意
* locate and interpret significant details尋找并解釋關(guān)鍵細節
* understand sequences of events理解事件順序
* make comparisons做比較
* comprehend cause-effect relationships 理解起因 - 結果的關(guān)系
* determine the meaning of context-dependent words, phrases, and statements

* draw generalizations 得出一般結論
* analyze the author's or narrator's voice and method

測試文章包括以下領(lǐng)域：社會(huì )科學(xué)，自然科學(xué)，小說(shuō)，以及人類(lèi)學(xué)
每篇文章后附有一定的選擇題。這些題目并不測試文章以外死記硬背的知識，單獨的詞匯或邏輯，而是測試應試者在閱讀一系列學(xué)科領(lǐng)域時(shí)要用到的補充，論證技巧。
4. Science
科學(xué)考試40個(gè)問(wèn)題，35分鐘�？疾熳匀豢茖W(xué)要求的能力：解釋?zhuān)治�，評價(jià)，推理以及如何解決問(wèn)題。
* 數據圖象表達(曲線(xiàn)圖，表格、其他示意圖)
* research summaries (descriptions of several related experiments)

* conflicting viewpoints (expressions of several related hypotheses or views that are inconsistent with one another)
* 沖突性觀(guān)點(diǎn)(幾個(gè)相關(guān)而有彼此矛盾的假設或公式)
The questions require you to: 問(wèn)題要求：
* recognize and understand the basic features of, and concepts related to, the provided information
* 辨認并理解所給信息的特點(diǎn)和概念
* examine critically the relationship between the information provided and the conclusions drawn or hypotheses developed
* 嚴密驗證所給信息以及得出結論或者假設的關(guān)系
* generalize from given information and draw conclusions, gain new information, or makepredictions

5. Writing
寫(xiě)作考試30分鐘，考查寫(xiě)作技巧――主要是考查高中英語(yǔ)課程和大學(xué)起點(diǎn)課程強調的寫(xiě)作技巧。
寫(xiě)作會(huì )給一篇小文章，給定一個(gè)議題，并有兩種觀(guān)點(diǎn)。你可以任選一個(gè)，或者提出自己的觀(guān)點(diǎn)。寫(xiě)作分數不會(huì )受所選觀(guān)點(diǎn)的影響。
