大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四級考試中，短對話(huà)題( short conversations )位于Part II部分的Section A中，共8道選擇題。其錄音的語(yǔ)言材料主要來(lái)源于人們日常生活中的衣食住行等。因為是日常會(huì )話(huà)，所以句子都不太長(cháng)，但是口語(yǔ)性較強，并且考試時(shí)只讀一遍。此題型要求考生根據錄音中的語(yǔ)氣、語(yǔ)調等各因素去理解對話(huà)中的內容，在有限的時(shí)間內聽(tīng)懂題目并選出正確答案。很多考生在此部分答題的效果不是很理想，為此，特提供如下幾條建議，以供廣大考生學(xué)習。

二、抓住關(guān)鍵詞
對話(huà)所提供的上下文非常有限，這就給考生理解和判斷談話(huà)內容帶來(lái)一定的困難�？墒�，如果考生能夠抓住對話(huà)中的關(guān)鍵詞，便能明確談話(huà)內容，提高對談話(huà)內容的理解，從而做出正確的推理和判斷。比如對話(huà)中出現了chicken, salad,beef等，則談話(huà)的內容一定與食物有關(guān)。這樣對可能提出的問(wèn)題，如what is the man’s favourite food?等，考生就不難做出回答。
三、打好語(yǔ)言基礎
