this afternoon i went to see my grandma by bus. it was very crowded. i had to stand. beside me was a woman with a little girl in her arms. but in front of her, a young man occupied two seats, pretending to be sleeping.
i heard the little girl asking her mother, "whats wrong with the uncle?" i had thought that perhaps the mother would blame the man. but out of my epectation, the woman answered with a smile, "be quiet. this uncle must be very tired because of hard work." the young man must have heard these words. his face turned red and he offered one seat to the little girl at once.
the woman respected the young man and didnt blame him in public. in this way, she made him feeli ashamed and corrected his bad behavior. i think the woman is very smart.

今年我們組制訂的英語(yǔ)學(xué)科活動(dòng)為：“小學(xué)生英語(yǔ)作文大賽”，主要是五、六年級的學(xué)生參賽。
開(kāi)學(xué)初，我在我們組訂的英語(yǔ)報紙上看到了“小學(xué)生英語(yǔ)作文大賽”的消息，免報名費，但是，又仔細一讀，每個(gè)參賽選手要訂閱全年的報紙，大約三十多元，這等于是有報名費的。在教研會(huì )上討論時(shí)，大家認為訂閱報紙錢(qián)數過(guò)多，訂閱的報紙也沒(méi)有時(shí)間組織學(xué)生學(xué)習，不如在五、六年級組織比賽作文，不收報名費，成為我們組的學(xué)科活動(dòng)，這一共識達成之后，我們五、六年級的四位英語(yǔ)教師就把任務(wù)布置下去了：題目自擬，題材不限，字數達50個(gè)單詞以上，語(yǔ)言流暢，書(shū)寫(xiě)美觀(guān)。
我們給學(xué)生的寫(xiě)作時(shí)間是一個(gè)月。
十一月，我們的活動(dòng)正式開(kāi)展。經(jīng)過(guò)統計，此次作文比賽共收上來(lái)英語(yǔ)文章240余篇，其中五年級110篇，六年級130篇。經(jīng)過(guò)各位教師的`評選，批改，共評出一等獎20人，二等獎50人，三等獎80人，鼓勵參與獎90人。各獎項已經(jīng)發(fā)了獎品作為獎勵。
本次活動(dòng)的舉行，五、六年級的學(xué)生參與性強，經(jīng)常有孩子來(lái)問(wèn)老師怎么選題，用什么時(shí)態(tài)來(lái)寫(xiě)，這個(gè)句型這樣寫(xiě)行不行，這句話(huà)中的這個(gè)詞能不能用別的詞來(lái)代替。他們寫(xiě)好以后，還請教師批改，再工工整整的重新謄抄一遍，在寫(xiě)作文的過(guò)程當中，他們的詞匯增多了，句型運用更靈活了，就連書(shū)寫(xiě)也美觀(guān)了，許多學(xué)生有了收獲。
本次活動(dòng)的舉行，體現了小學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程標準的對學(xué)生的寫(xiě)的能力的要求，并且高于新課標的要求，對學(xué)生的寫(xiě)作能力是個(gè)鍛煉，提高了他們寫(xiě)作的積極性，促使他們積極主動(dòng)的學(xué)習，從要我背單詞到我要積極的多背單詞。學(xué)習態(tài)度發(fā)生了轉變。體現了新課標的要求。
本次活動(dòng)也有值得注意的地方：
一．學(xué)生的參與面再廣一些就好了；
二．教師先給范文，再讓學(xué)生摹寫(xiě)，對更多的學(xué)生是個(gè)鍛煉；
