為了今天，我以前可是大下功夫，又是寫(xiě)稿子，又是讓媽媽幫我認識新單詞，又是自己背稿子，終于等到了今天。
我自信滿(mǎn)滿(mǎn)的走進(jìn)大廳。媽呀！嚇死我了！這里居然聚集著(zhù)這么多人。有五年級學(xué)生、老師、各年級的`英語(yǔ)老師。嗯？還有兩個(gè)老外！看來(lái)，我今天得好好表現了，為自己、為班級而爭光。
比賽開(kāi)始了，我是28號，也就是最后一名，我感受到我的心就像一個(gè)調皮的小精靈一樣，跳得七上八下的——好緊張。該我了，我走上臺，感到腿有點(diǎn)發(fā)軟，好像馬上就要癱在地上了一樣；手有一點(diǎn)發(fā)顫，好像馬上就要把話(huà)筒掉在地上一樣。當我看見(jiàn)兩位老外在默默地為我鼓掌時(shí)，我便又鼓起勇氣，繼續往下背。我的腿不再發(fā)軟了，我的手也不再發(fā)顫了，我的精神又飽滿(mǎn)起來(lái)。
因為我有一點(diǎn)拘謹，所以只得了二等獎。我很失望，因為我原來(lái)可以得到更高的分數，但我依然很開(kāi)心，因為我體驗到了我以前從來(lái)沒(méi)有體驗過(guò)的感受，還受到了一個(gè)使我一生受益的啟發(fā)：只要有付出，就一定有回報。
