畢業(yè)了，感想特多，但其實(shí)畢業(yè)這段時(shí)間想得最多的就是英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)的出路問(wèn)題。雖然本人因為缺乏信心和膽量從而選擇保研這個(gè)最中庸而省事的道路，但我的許多同學(xué)皆因最終出路問(wèn)題，絞過(guò)不少腦汁也有過(guò)n夜的掙扎。最后有一大半的同學(xué)選擇了考研，當然這其中還不包括保研的。究其最根本原因，無(wú)非是理科學(xué)校english majors找工作實(shí)在是難。這點(diǎn)在今年尤為明顯，一是因為現在英語(yǔ)人才爆炸，阿貓阿狗的都會(huì )來(lái)幾句;二是因為99年為第一年大規模擴招，僧多粥少啊!!其實(shí)現在市場(chǎng)上對于英語(yǔ)人才的需求還是蠻大。但問(wèn)題是真正學(xué)的精的人少之又少，大多數人還是浮于表面。到最后真正純粹靠英語(yǔ)糊口的人已然不多，大多數人都轉去搞別的了，比如外貿什么的。
我細細想了想，完全和英語(yǔ)接軌的就業(yè)渠道有這么幾種:
一，高校英語(yǔ)教師。要做英語(yǔ)教師我個(gè)人認為不是很難，難就難在如何當好一個(gè)英語(yǔ)教師。因為就我個(gè)人觀(guān)察，有很多人選擇做老師這一行多是因為待遇穩定，以及一年兩次的假期。其實(shí)做老師可以輕而易舉的天天混著(zhù)，生活安閑也沒(méi)有什么壓力�？墒侨绾握{動(dòng)學(xué)生的興趣如何最大限度的利用課堂時(shí)間，這絕對不是很容易的問(wèn)題。尤其在大學(xué)里，沒(méi)有了高考的壓力，老師要混日子更是輕松的很，在英語(yǔ)系就更別提了，上課光放放片子也可美其名曰多媒體教學(xué)。然而問(wèn)題總是雙面性的，也恰恰因為沒(méi)有了高考的壓力，更多的學(xué)生對大學(xué)老師的教學(xué)方式也變得更為挑剔。所以，在這樣的情況下如何讓學(xué)生覺(jué)得你的課worthwhile便需要花不少精力了。(補充;還必須強調的是，現在要在高校當老師，文憑這個(gè)敲門(mén)磚不可少，我畢業(yè)的時(shí)候對這一點(diǎn)認識還不是很深刻，以為英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)畢業(yè)的最后總有一個(gè)救命稻草就是當老師，說(shuō)實(shí)話(huà)，剛入校的時(shí)候對這條路是頗為不屑的，現在看看形勢，稍微入流的大學(xué)都要求博士生。所以，研究生便又處于一個(gè)高不成低不就的尷尬階段!其實(shí)學(xué)習語(yǔ)言學(xué)的研究生其研究的內容對于教學(xué)并沒(méi)有太大作用，但是現在門(mén)檻節節拔高，想當老師也只能節節往上爬。許多局外人對于英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)研究生還有很大的誤解，理所當然地認為只要上了研究生英語(yǔ)技能就比本科生高，我想再次聲明英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)研究生注重的是研究能力，而并非提高基礎技能，包括翻譯，學(xué)習的也是理論，而且不是技巧方面的理論，是純純純純的理論!!!)
二，翻譯。外行人一聽(tīng)外語(yǔ)系學(xué)生的名號就覺(jué)得你理所當然的翻譯很棒。其實(shí)，我個(gè)人認為要成為真正的翻譯好手是相當難的。首先，英語(yǔ)技能必須扎實(shí)，這點(diǎn)當然毋庸置疑，然后中文功底也必須深厚，這點(diǎn)也頗為明顯，翻譯者本來(lái)就是個(gè)橋梁，因而橋梁兩邊的風(fēng)景都得熟悉。不過(guò)中文畢竟是母語(yǔ)，再怎么次，好歹也能把話(huà)說(shuō)清楚。英語(yǔ)要掌握的那么地道就不那么容易了，這就是為什么現在中譯英的譯者比較難找，待遇也比較高的原因。ok，除了對中英語(yǔ)言的掌握以外，一個(gè)人的綜合知識也相當相當重要，可以說(shuō)和語(yǔ)言掌握能力處于相同的地位。為什么這么說(shuō)呢?相信做過(guò)翻譯的人都有這樣的體會(huì )。翻譯原文中稍微涉及到某專(zhuān)業(yè)的知識，翻譯起來(lái)就頗不順手。尤其當該領(lǐng)域對你來(lái)說(shuō)完全陌生時(shí)，原文在你看來(lái)也只不過(guò)是一個(gè)個(gè)孤立的單詞。其實(shí)有時(shí)候，原文并不屬于非常專(zhuān)業(yè)的文章，只不過(guò)里面有幾個(gè)單詞或詞組涉及到政治，經(jīng)濟或其它領(lǐng)域。其實(shí)對這領(lǐng)域稍加熟悉便能輕松應付。因此這就要求譯者的知識面要相當廣泛，任何領(lǐng)域都應稍加涉獵。樣樣懂點(diǎn)皮毛，樣樣卻都不精，這樣的評語(yǔ)并不能說(shuō)是完全褒義的。但對于英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)如果能做到這一點(diǎn)對于其翻譯工作卻有著(zhù)莫大的幫助。其實(shí)拓寬的現代社會(huì )，現在屬于知識爆炸的時(shí)代，新生事物不斷涌現，若能正做到這一點(diǎn)也已經(jīng)非常不錯了。唉，其實(shí)我個(gè)人就相當佩服那些知識面廣的同學(xué)，欣賞他們的博學(xué)和侃侃而談的瀟灑。而我就不行了，只對自己有興趣的話(huà)題感興趣，像政治，經(jīng)濟，體育什么的，我對其了解程度真的是少的可憐哦!!!所以，這次廢話(huà)中的一個(gè)精華建議就是—努力積累，積極擴大自己的知識領(lǐng)域。這句話(huà)不單單是對那些想從事翻譯工作的同學(xué)說(shuō)的，同時(shí)也對所有人適用，當今社會(huì )這點(diǎn)真的相當重要。這也是提高自身修養的一個(gè)重要方面，尤其在社交場(chǎng)合，你能根據不同的交談對象輕松的從腦中數據庫調用出相關(guān)信息，然后侃侃而談，讓你的魅力值急劇飆升。(嚴重警告;請注意在侃侃而談時(shí)不要因忘形而造成吐沫飛濺。)呵呵，我這一扯就扯遠了，我回頭看看我該說(shuō)什么了。哦，翻譯!!反正，做翻譯應該是英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)畢業(yè)生干本行的一條途徑，其實(shí)也是個(gè)頗能賺錢(qián)的行當(呵呵，年紀不大但已經(jīng)有銅臭味了)。
可惜自稱(chēng)能做翻譯的人多了，可真正能成為行家的卻又寥寥無(wú)幾。我曾經(jīng)思考過(guò)這樣一個(gè)問(wèn)題，英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)生和其他專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)學(xué)的好的學(xué)生，兩者做翻譯誰(shuí)更有優(yōu)勢。結果是，如果為專(zhuān)業(yè)性翻譯，英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)生絲毫無(wú)便宜可占，反倒是相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)中英語(yǔ)學(xué)的好的同學(xué)，再稍加訓練，做起本專(zhuān)業(yè)的翻譯反而得心應手。英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)生的優(yōu)勢無(wú)非是英語(yǔ)掌握的比較扎實(shí)，做起文學(xué)翻譯等非專(zhuān)業(yè)性翻譯優(yōu)勢比較明顯�？墒菍�(zhuān)業(yè)性英語(yǔ)，如經(jīng)濟英語(yǔ)和計算機英語(yǔ)，固定的詞條往往有固定的翻譯，外行人恐怕很難翻對，即便想強行翻，資料便得查個(gè)半天，而且往往費了那么多事最后錯誤率還極高，悲哀啊悲哀。所以，你如果想從事專(zhuān)業(yè)翻譯，光學(xué)英語(yǔ)是絕對不行的，還得另學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)知識，當然，你不必理解的多么透徹，但至少，基礎的東西不可少。如果想從事文學(xué)翻譯，嘿嘿，你也得掂量掂量自己的中文水平哦，反正我常常是看懂了英文的意思，可是卻找不到恰當的'中文，那種滋味，唉，真是憋得慌!!!所以我一度對翻譯喪失信心。
其實(shí)我覺(jué)得語(yǔ)言這東西還真是講究點(diǎn)天分，你還不能不承認。但除此之外我們能做的就是練，翻譯也是這樣。其重要性不言而喻，至少對英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)的人來(lái)說(shuō)是混飯的道路之一。那么怎么練??嘿嘿，我又要說(shuō)廢話(huà)了--自己一段段翻譯。其實(shí)這真是傻瓜都明白，可類(lèi)似我這樣的傻人一類(lèi)總想摸索些所謂的捷徑。于是乎，我也買(mǎi)了幾大本翻譯技巧書(shū)，期望在看完前人的經(jīng)驗后便得道升天。只可惜，前人的經(jīng)驗看完了，它還是前人的，基本合上書(shū)后便不留下一絲痕跡。再說(shuō)了翻譯技巧中那么多的條條框框，誰(shuí)能在翻譯時(shí)眼前頓現如此多框架??所以哦，還是得練。那么如何練?我認為應該閱讀前人經(jīng)驗和自己實(shí)際操作相結合。只有自己做了才能深刻體會(huì )到技巧的高妙，才能在下次遇到類(lèi)似句型時(shí)立刻想到運用相關(guān)技巧。而且在翻譯中通過(guò)對不同方法的捉摸和比較，我們也能自己摸索出最佳的翻譯方法。具體說(shuō)，我覺(jué)得應該選一本配有練習的翻譯書(shū)，每天翻譯一篇，然后將自己的譯文和參考答案相對照。仔細捉摸不同之處，分析參考譯文的優(yōu)點(diǎn)。如果有翻譯分析，那當然就更好了。最后，將那些值得注意的地方以及自己總結出的技巧用筆記本記錄下來(lái)。這樣印象絕對深刻。而且這比任何翻譯技巧書(shū)任何翻譯教程都有用。其實(shí)自己親自翻譯是最有用的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習之道，這不僅僅就翻譯技巧的提高而言，而且你每翻譯一段文字其實(shí)是對該文字的徹底消化，無(wú)論是英文語(yǔ)法，句式結構還是文章的具體內容!反正，翻譯是最全面最徹底的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習方法!!!
有朋友此時(shí)想問(wèn)了，即然你將翻譯練習說(shuō)的那么神奇，那么你堅持多久了?呵，呵(注:苦笑聲)，千萬(wàn)不要因為我打了這么多字就忘了我的本性—一個(gè)懶人!!!唉，其實(shí)我也是堅持了兩天的，還用紅筆注出我譯文和參考譯文的不同之處，后來(lái)因為紅筆筆跡太多，而且翻譯過(guò)程又太痛苦，就又放棄了。直到現在還沒(méi)有勇氣和毅力再重新開(kāi)始，汗顏哦。不過(guò)，你們一定要相信我，這樣的練習方式絕對會(huì )使你的翻譯水平有大幅度提高，當然，前提是你得堅持!!兩天速成是不可能的，我本人不就是個(gè)鮮活的例子嗎??
反正話(huà)說(shuō)那么多了，是非對錯還得看官您自個(gè)兒分析，您說(shuō)是這個(gè)理不?當時(shí)我練習用的是上海外語(yǔ)教育出版社出的《高級翻譯教程》，就是英語(yǔ)高級口譯資格證書(shū)考試系列書(shū)之一，孫萬(wàn)彪，王恩銘編著(zhù)。這本書(shū)和其他翻譯教程不一樣，沒(méi)有專(zhuān)門(mén)講授翻譯技巧，而是通過(guò)對一篇篇短文的翻譯和講解來(lái)進(jìn)行實(shí)例分析。每單元一開(kāi)始就是一篇文章，你可以先自己翻譯一遍，翻譯過(guò)程中有不懂的單詞和用法可以參照文章后面的words and expressions。然后和參考譯文對照，找出差別，然后結合notes and explanations分析這些不同之處，并總結經(jīng)驗。我感覺(jué)這本書(shū)這樣用應該能達到編者預期的效果。如果只是生看，那你其實(shí)在做課文分析!!!ok，希望有志之士能照我這辦法練習一段時(shí)間，我不敢說(shuō)你的翻譯水平能在多短時(shí)間內得到提高，但堅持數年必有好處。另外，向大家推薦兩本我們任課老師向我們推薦的兩本翻譯教程。都是比較老，但據說(shuō)是比較經(jīng)典的，有興趣朋友可以買(mǎi)來(lái)看看。英譯漢她推薦的是上海外語(yǔ)教育出版社出版的《英漢翻譯教程》，張培基，喻云根等編著(zhù)。嘿嘿，看看年代1980年9月第一版，至今已經(jīng)翻印了三十幾版，可見(jiàn)其經(jīng)典性了吧。還有本漢譯英也是上海外語(yǔ)出版社出版的，名為《漢英翻譯基礎》，主編;陳宏薇
上次談到做老師和當翻譯，其實(shí)英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)的學(xué)生還可以在一個(gè)領(lǐng)域拓展自己的優(yōu)勢，那就是—英文寫(xiě)作。雖然很多英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)的同學(xué)提起英文寫(xiě)作仍是一幅苦不堪言的樣子。但畢竟相對非專(zhuān)業(yè)的同學(xué)而言，我們多了四年的專(zhuān)業(yè)訓練，還是有優(yōu)勢可言的�，F如今，我們口語(yǔ)的戰場(chǎng)已一步步淪陷，越來(lái)越多的非英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)生的口語(yǔ)技能不得不讓我們這些科班出生的人汗顏。不過(guò)，這也是一種趨勢，而且口語(yǔ)這東西，只要苦心練習，必定有所成。但寫(xiě)作就不一樣了，它需要一定時(shí)間的專(zhuān)業(yè)培訓，一些規則和格式都需要練。當然我不否認非英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)生也能通過(guò)自己的努力來(lái)提高自己的寫(xiě)作水平。敢問(wèn)什么事不能?但畢竟相對于口語(yǔ)而言，寫(xiě)作并不為那么多人所重視，而且練習寫(xiě)作遠遠要比練習口語(yǔ)復雜的多。而英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)的學(xué)生由于接觸英語(yǔ)畢竟比較多，而且也有過(guò)幾學(xué)期寫(xiě)作的專(zhuān)業(yè)訓練，因而在英文寫(xiě)作上還是有優(yōu)勢可言的。但俗話(huà)說(shuō)師傅領(lǐng)進(jìn)門(mén)，修行靠個(gè)人。如何將這個(gè)優(yōu)勢擴大，才是我們需要面對的問(wèn)題。雖然有優(yōu)勢，但寫(xiě)出來(lái)的東西還是不令人滿(mǎn)意，仍然不能符合要求，那么這種優(yōu)勢就根本不能叫做優(yōu)秀。如果想靠寫(xiě)作來(lái)混飯吃，當撰稿人或編輯什么的話(huà)，就必須—練。呵呵，還是老生常談。其實(shí)，英文寫(xiě)作是最能反映一個(gè)人英語(yǔ)綜合水平的，這就反映在你寫(xiě)出的東西是否流暢簡(jiǎn)潔，是否像篇英文的東西。聽(tīng)起來(lái)簡(jiǎn)單，但做起來(lái)是多難啊。這就是為什么英文寫(xiě)作一直是眾多英語(yǔ)學(xué)習者的心病�？梢赃@樣說(shuō)，如果你能自如的寫(xiě)出比較地道的文章，那么你對英語(yǔ)的掌握就已經(jīng)很深了。而且為什么現在做翻譯中譯英遠比英語(yǔ)中難?就是因為理解中文意思容易但要將其轉換為地道的英文，那就難了。所以如果英文寫(xiě)作能力比較強的話(huà)，中譯英的能力也會(huì )相應提高。
其實(shí)，做老師，翻譯或寫(xiě)作，這三條路都不好走。能走的人比較多但能真正走好的人不知能有幾人?我個(gè)人認為還是做高校老師最容易混日子，絕對是大實(shí)話(huà)。如果要做翻譯的話(huà)，我認為如果你中文功底不是相當深厚，最好不要做文學(xué)翻譯，絕對是件痛苦的事!但如果要做其它專(zhuān)業(yè)翻譯的話(huà)，建議在閑暇時(shí)間多學(xué)學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)知識，只要專(zhuān)業(yè)知識在手，我們翻出來(lái)的東西還是要強于非專(zhuān)業(yè)生的�，F在口譯讓人感到是個(gè)很時(shí)髦很賺錢(qián)的行當。但大家要做好思想準備，壓力絕對大。每次口譯前都要做大量的準備工作，閱讀大量的相關(guān)知識，就像全身?yè)Q了一次血。
唉，其實(shí)凡事也不是那么難，不過(guò)，我向來(lái)有點(diǎn)悲觀(guān)主義。所以，如果各位準備將英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行到底，已決定完全靠其養活自己的話(huà)，那么就義無(wú)反顧地練練練吧!!good luck to you all!

the more you lean you more you understand
and it is the ordinary situation for people that when they experience to some degree, they want to plunge into another stage. i have recognized the interest of my own that i am more outstanding with my english speaking, all the time, i focus on its practice most and spend much more time in the practice of it without consciousness. and i have developed the habit that every day i would woke up at 6 o’clock and practiced one hour oral english by the lake in the campus before going to have classes at 8 o’clock in the morning. under this point , i have also laughed at by others ,too, but i never feel influenced cause it is my interest in and my habit which have been developed for many years. therefore , i won’t give up!
these days , when you interview any jobs , the interviewer must ask you the question without any changes that whether you have got the cet-4 certificate. don’t feel confused that’s true, cause somebody think you are not able to express between english and chinese or you are not in position to go on any business involved with english at all without the certificate. general speaking, cet-4 is the base you should take along bascally. but i wonder usually whether it is the truth. however, in my own opinion , i am not for this saying , to some degree! what a pity, however, i cannot change everything.
so, under this situation, i have to join the group of student who are always paying visits to the library and self-access room. but things are so interesting and special when you contact it. i like studying there from then on . perhaps you will feel alone when you just have to stay in front in the table reading textbooks one by one and the lighting is so dime, but soon you will discover that it is enjoyable to staying in the self-access room the whole night where the room is so spacious and the lighting is good enough, however, another essential factor will be that the other students sitting around you play quite am important role , for they make you have the power to stay up which is the essential motivation on the study road . yes, that the key point , study in the self-access room , you are able to get a sort of quiet and happy study atmosphere, meanwhile , the normal competition, too, cause you won’t feel sleepy in the sight of hard word from others staying behind you .

Phoenix flowers bloom, a mixture of words, six years of primary school life is about to draw a full stop.
In the past six years, I have experienced many ups and downs. Now I think of it, my heart is like overturning the five flavored bottles. When I think about leaving my alma mater, leaving my friends and leaving my teacher, my nose is sour.
There are still two months to go. Perhaps after growing up, two classmates will pass by, what will be remembered, but can not remember.
Therefore, I must cherish this time and spend my last precious time in my alma mater.
