Good afternoon ，ladies and gentlemen!
I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.
First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”
Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 2008 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.
Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?
I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”
For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2008 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.
At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.

我很榮幸站在這里給你一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)短的講話(huà)!我的主題是機遇和挑戰。
首先,我想知道,你的命運給你什么?幸福,智慧,一個(gè)強壯的身體或者其他東西。如果我有問(wèn)這個(gè)問(wèn)題尼克松總統,他可能會(huì )說(shuō),“命運給予我們的不是失望之酒,而是機會(huì )之杯。”
不用說(shuō),給中國一個(gè)最大的機會(huì )是2008年奧運會(huì )。直到現在,我們已經(jīng)使用2/7的準備時(shí)間。你看過(guò)多少變化?新的道路,新的地鐵線(xiàn)路,public-exercising設備用美麗的色彩,大量的草地上,還有很多在建的現代健身房。
以外,有更加好的效果帶給我們的奧運會(huì ),不能直接看到。例如,越來(lái)越多的人了解中國。我相信神秘的中國文化會(huì )強烈吸引他們。和奧運會(huì )也將做良好的經(jīng)濟和環(huán)境,因為這是獲得外國投資者的關(guān)注和保護環(huán)境的意識正在加強。更重要的是,奧運會(huì )給一個(gè)獨特的機會(huì )來(lái)激勵和培養新一代的中國青年奧林匹克精神和奧林匹克精神�，F在我們已經(jīng)見(jiàn)過(guò)這么多的進(jìn)步,你能想象我們失去了持有的權利嗎?
我已經(jīng)說(shuō)了很多關(guān)于奧運會(huì )和中國。但我認為每個(gè)人都應該用一些時(shí)間來(lái)思考這個(gè)問(wèn)題,“奧運會(huì )有什么特殊的意義嗎?”
對我們來(lái)說(shuō),我的意思是中國青年,2008年奧運會(huì )是一個(gè)巨大的禮物。因為我們正在等待做重要的是償還給我們的愛(ài)。社會(huì )就像一艘船,我們的夢(mèng)想隊長(cháng)揮舞著(zhù)他的手,說(shuō):“嘿!來(lái)這里掌舵!”他的聲音是多么迷人,但我們從未聽(tīng)說(shuō)過(guò)在我們的真實(shí)生活。然而今天上午,當我們醒來(lái)時(shí),我們將看到奧運會(huì )揮舞著(zhù)它的手。咀嚼后,我們大多數人至少都會(huì )有一個(gè)計劃為奧運會(huì )做什么。和我的是一個(gè)“被子”——這是會(huì )安慰別人的人。

Everybody good afternoon:.
First of all thank the teacher gave me a story in my own future ideal job.
Everyone has a dream job. My dream is to become a boss, own a company.
In order to achieve my dreams, I need to find a good job, to accumulate some experience and wealth, it is the necessary things
Of course, in the school good achievement and rich knowledge is also very important. Good achievement and rich experience can let me work to make the right choice, have more opportunities and achievements.
At the same time, communication is very important, because it determines whether my company has a good future development. So I need to exercise their communicative ability. I need to use all of the free time to learn all. Because I believe, there is nothing in the world can shake my determination.
You will be successful, as your own efforts. So seize the time, we have no time to waste.
Nothing in the world can change their patience ( confidence ).

首先很感謝老師給了我一個(gè)講述我自己未來(lái)理想工作的機會(huì )。
每個(gè)人心中都有一個(gè)自己理想的工作。我的夢(mèng)想是將來(lái)成為一名老板，擁有一個(gè)屬于自己的公司。
為了完成自己的夢(mèng)想，我需要找到一個(gè)好的工作，用來(lái)積累一些經(jīng)驗和財富，這是必要的事情。
當然，在學(xué)校里好的成績(jì)和豐富的知識也是非常重要的。好的成績(jì)和豐富的經(jīng)驗能讓我在工作中做出正確的選擇，擁有更多的機會(huì )和成就。
同時(shí)，交際能力也是非常重要的，因為這決定著(zhù)自己公司未來(lái)是否擁有一個(gè)好的發(fā)展。所以自己需要鍛煉自己的交際能力。自己需要利用一切的空閑時(shí)間來(lái)學(xué)習一切。 因為我相信，世界上沒(méi)有什么能動(dòng)搖我的決心。
你的明天會(huì )成功的，正如你自己所努力的那樣。
因此抓緊時(shí)間，我們不能在浪費時(shí)間了。

I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.
However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.
抓牢你的夢(mèng)想
我今天有一個(gè)夢(mèng)想。
我夢(mèng)想有一天，幽谷上升，高山下降，崎嶇之地變平原，曲折之路成坦途。圣光展露，滿(mǎn)照人間。
這對馬丁路德金是怎樣的一個(gè)夢(mèng)想啊。不過(guò)這個(gè)變化著(zhù)的世界似乎在告訴我，在成長(cháng)的過(guò)程中，人們卻不知不覺(jué)把他們的夢(mèng)想弄丟了，而我自己也有時(shí)會(huì )覺(jué)得在告別很多童年的夢(mèng)。
然而，我們是需要夢(mèng)想的。夢(mèng)想滋養我們的靈魂，夢(mèng)想代表著(zhù)我們被現實(shí)拉垮時(shí)依然具有的希望。它鼓勵我們不斷前進(jìn)。大多數成功人士都是夢(mèng)想家，同時(shí)也是普通人，只是他們敢于夢(mèng)想敢于成就偉大。當我們還是孩子的時(shí)候，我們都夢(mèng)想過(guò)做一番大事業(yè)，現在應當做的就是保存好那些夢(mèng)想，再度恢復它們，并將它們實(shí)現。不過(guò)最難的是我們通常不知道怎樣付諸實(shí)施。那么，就從最具體的目標開(kāi)始，堅持去做吧。不要讓那些莫名的恐懼迷惑了我們的雙眼，影響了我們對未來(lái)的信念。用我們的天資和智慧，用我們的耐力和創(chuàng )造力，我們一定會(huì )實(shí)現夢(mèng)想。
抓牢你的夢(mèng)想，因為如果夢(mèng)想死亡，生活就成了一只折斷翅膀的鳥(niǎo)再也不能飛翔。抓牢你的夢(mèng)想，因為如果失去夢(mèng)想，生命就成了一塊覆蓋著(zhù)冰雪的貧瘠的凍土。親愛(ài)的朋友們，想想那些過(guò)去的或已經(jīng)死去的夢(mèng)想吧。不管是什么，重新將它撿起，并從今天開(kāi)始讓它重生。
