TABLE MANNERS AT A DINNER PARTY:

宴會(huì )上的餐桌禮儀.

There are two pairs of knives and forks on the table,

桌子上有兩雙刀叉

Forks on the left and knives in the right of the plate.

叉子放在盤(pán)子的左邊，刀子放在右邊

When you see two spoons, the big one id for the soup and the small one for the dessert.

你能看到兩個(gè)勺子，大的`是為了盛湯，小的為了甜點(diǎn)。

For the starter, which you eat with the smaller pair,

開(kāi)始時(shí)候你用小的那對吃

you keep the knife in your right hand and the fork in your left.

保持著(zhù)左手叉右手刀

The next dish is the main course.

下一道菜是主菜。

At table ,you should try to speak quietly and smile a lot,but do not laugh all the time.
在桌子上你應該試著(zhù)輕聲的說(shuō)話(huà)，并且常常微笑，不要一直笑，

Table manners change over time.

餐桌禮儀總是在變

They follow the fashion of the day .

他們隨著(zhù)時(shí)代改變。
